Although the design was already afloat, we tried to convey our idea of what a state secretariat can and should reflect. This is the place where the entire state administration takes place, powerful in terms of law yet humble towards the citizens. One needs to understand that even though the state was divided in the past, the number of new districts has increased than before, almost doubling in number, demands a larger administration area as we have more officers taking charge. The design reflects what the state stands for and the past it has gone through. The walls and columns communicate with the visitors through their engravings and art forms that convey stories of what the state of Telangana represents.
